Financial Manager Australia and New Zealand

Your specific responsibilities will include:

Tax & Statutory Management (Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo)

  • Coordinate and assist to prepare all Financial Statements for all ANZ legal entities
  • Responsible for Income tax, FBT, GST, Transfer Pricing preparation alongside third-party agency
  • Prepare, lead and manage all audit requirements (including sales audits) for ANZ legal entities
  • Responsible for consolidation of all Capri Holdings brand P&L, partnering closely with regional stakeholders
  • Review, monitor and action all tax requirements for Australia & New Zealand
  • Prepare needed documents for tax return
  • Treasury responsibilities: intercompany settlements, cash flow reporting
  • Undertake the required duties of Company Public Officer role

Inventory Management (Michael Kors)

  • Manage inventory reporting and stock adjustments (theft, damages)
  • Inventory and related tax adjustment
  • Assist in preparing, participating and reporting on stock take.

Accounts Payable/Receivable

  • Manage AP / AR for Michael Kors
  • Oversee third-party management teams, including MSP for Michael Kors brand

Team Management

  • Dotted line reporting for brand Financial Accountants to assist with overseeing month-end closures as local support, and other ad-hoc queries
  • Direct reporting line for one accountant
  • Communication and Alignment with brand’s regional finance team
  • Manage key financial and/or system coordination and communications associated with business project work and initiatives
  • Adopt and drive consistent group processes, policies and procedure improvements that support business growth
  • Coach Finance team member(s) and provide on-the-job training where needed

Ad Hoc Tasks:

  • Duty drawback
  • Lease accounting, CRF and other accounting process coordination and communications
  • Insurance certificates
  • Corporate secretarial
  • ASIC
  • Company statement
  • Change in share structure
  • Capital Injection
  • Recharge agreements
  • Monitor Petty cash/credit card usage in ANZ
  • Partner with Travel company to ensure adherence to company policy
