Stock Administrator

Here at Van Cleef & Arpels Geneva we are expanding our family by looking for a highly organized, precise and pro-active Stock Administrator for a full-time position, based in our boutique of Geneva.

CONTEXT

As part of the Operations Team, the Stock Administrator ensures the stock management of the boutique including main safe and daily safe optimum organization. She / he aims for operational excellence to support the boutique daily business.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

STOCK OPERATIONS

  • Manage the stock in the main safe - Receive stock (physically & system), transfer pieces, handle special products requests for CP, and ensure efficient organization of main safe
  • Manage the daily safe & boutique windows Replenishment - Ensure daily replenishment according to daily routine process & in line with products list agreed with Boutique management, propose alternative when facing shortages and follow-up pieces’ movements within the boutique (CP, safe…)
  • Token processes - Proceed with daily checks of tokens. Follow Maison processes and guidelines, and support Boutique team
  • Contribute to document management (delivery notes, mails…)
  • Ensure the back-office area is properly set-up
  • Inventories & Pricing follow-up : Perform weekly & monthly stock counts according to boutique inventory schedule, perform yearly inventories in collaboration with RBO team, perform random checks of price tags  and update price tags whenever needed
  • Follow-up & prepare omni-channel orders
  • Ensure good practices on product storage and manipulation - know how to handle HJ pieces (manipulation, stock specifications, transfer requirements…)

GENERAL BOUTIQUE OPERATIONS

  • Work as a team in close collaboration with Boutique Admin & CS Admin
  • Comply with Maison’s policies & abide by procedures
  • Support CS Admin in CS Stock Management when needed - Receive CS (physically & system), prepare transfers and control all repairs (visual check) at reception
  • Act as a back-up for Boutique & CS Admin whenever necessary to ensure continuity in boutique operations
  • Aim for operational excellence as a key member of the BOH team
  • Escalade feedbacks and propose improvements for existing processes when relevant

TEAM DEVELOPMENT & TEAM SPIRIT

  • Support the boutique team in handling phone enquiries & CRC emails
  • Develop personal knowledge & skills through self-training (Maison’s products & competition), group training sessions, and LMS tests (e-learning campaigns…)
  • Raise awareness of back-office activities among the sales team & train her/his backup
  • Contribute to positive team spirit & actively participate in the day-to-day boutique life

CLIENT EXPERIENCE & IN-STORE JOURNEY

  • Support the boutique team in handling phone enquiries & CRC emails
  • Helps organizing sales desks and ensures tidiness of the sales floor, jewelry windows with regular checks

MAISON IDENTITY & EXPERTISE

  • Have basic knowledge on High Jewelry, Jewelry, Watchmaking, and Stones (for quality purposes)
  • Develop operational knowledge & skills

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • At least 3 years of experience in a boutique environment
  • Strong retail operations experience in a luxury environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and team spirit
  • Knowledge of the luxury goods industry and the jewellery/watchmaking sectors is a plus.
  • Dynamic, rigorous and communicative, you are recognized for your ability to manage several subjects at the same time.
  • Excellent understanding of retail productivity levers.
  • Experience in an international environment.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Willingness to work weekend shifts
